CRC CHANGE LEGACY
Dave lived, battled, and died with immense courage, grace and dignity. Although his body was overtaken by cancer, his spirit was unencumbered and continued to spread his love, humor, and kindness to those around him. When the time finally came, he peacefully let go. What has happened is tragic, but Dave’s life is not a tragedy. He was a lifelong learner, and impacted thousands of lives just by being himself. He lived and died with intentionality, and his legacy will live on.
Dave, a serial collaborator, often said one of his great joys was connecting his family, friends, and even acquaintances together. Whether to commiserate on shared backgrounds or to enjoy shared hobbies over a meal, Dave brought countless lives together despite the brevity of his own.
It is in this spirit and in celebration of his legacy that we ask you to consider donating to support the work of Dave’s brainchild, CRC Change — an organization dedicated to confronting the growing trend of early-onset colorectal cancer. By bringing together his family, friends, and cancer warriors from across the globe, Dave hoped to spur a sea change in research, funding, and advocacy for those battling early-onset colorectal cancers. With your help, whether in time or treasure, we will make Dave's hopes a reality.
